A successful personnel policy and the guarantee of family-orientated working conditions are closely linked. Provision of the appropriate conditions is therefore not only an expression of changed values, but also a practical necessity for securing the continuing success of the enterprise.
In the last few years we have therefore done a great deal to provide a family-orientated work environment and have introduced flexible work styles as a variety of part-time and distance working models. In Hamburg a parent-and-child room is available.
At our headquarters in Karlsruhe we can offer our employees a special facility. Together with the city of Karlsruhe and the enterprise “euducare” we have set up our own day care centre for children. This will enable our employees to return to their career sooner.
In our children’s day care centre “Wasserflöhe” (‘water fleas’) 20 places are available to employees of federal authorities in this region for children between the ages of six months and six years.
